What is VDL? Video laryngoscopy is a form of laryngoscopy whereby the clinician views the larynx indirectly. Images from VDLs are displayed on a monitor and can be recorded, while the magnification allows for a more detailed examination of the larynx. Video laryngoscopy is also used with rigid transoral laryngoscopy.
