Continuous Screen Changers (CSC) eliminate production downtime and related scrap generation during screen changes. The polymer melt flow divides into two streams at the housing inlet, conveyed through individual breaker plates and screen packs. Each breaker plate and flow channel accommodates full extruder throughput during screen changes. Entrained air is efficiently purged through vents before screen pack reintroduction.
