PET strapping is manufactured from highly crystalline plastic and adhesive through a precision process of melting, pressing, forming, cooling, winding, and testing. The material offers excellent ductility, strong tension, and elongation properties with tensile strength exceeding 10,000N.
Polyester PP/PET strapping has become a popular alternative to steel for most applications. Pound for pound, PET is stronger than steel, providing lighter weight strapping with equivalent break load capacity.
