The MH150 gantry-type welding platform is an industrial-grade lifting system designed for high-precision longitudinal seam (LS) welding on extra-large cylindrical workpieces such as wind towers, pressure vessels, or structural steel pipes. With a maximum lifting stroke of 7500 mm and platform span of 15 m × 9.8 m, it offers robust performance, high load capacity, and reliable operator safety systems.
System Overview

Structure:
The system is composed of two vertical columns (upper and lower parts), a lifting platform, lifting mechanism, dual-axis motorized slide modules, safety ladders, and a full electrical control system. -
Columns:
Constructed with welded profiles and plates. The upper section includes vertical tracks for precise up/down platform travel. The design ensures excellent rigidity and structural balance. -
Lifting Platform:
Made from profile and plate welded frame with anti-slip floor and three-side guardrails. The platform integrates:-
Guide carriage with six sets of eccentric-adjustable guide wheels.

Fall arrest system that mechanically locks the carriage upon chain failure.

Two motorized slide units (300×300 mm) for welding torch installation, with rack and pinion linear guidance.

Lifting Mechanism:
Uses dual 3 kW AC brake motors with chain & sprocket drive system, equipped with counterweights for smooth and stable lifting.
