SmFeN Magnets 

 

SmFeN magnets are anisotropic magnets made of SmFeN magnetic powder and engineering plastic PA12 mixed and granulated, and then injection molded in a directional magnetic field. Its oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance are better than NdFeB, and it is 2~3 times better than similar NdFeB materials. The products are mainly used in sensors, motors, etc.

SmFeN magnet characteristics

 

The Curie temperature can reach 476 degrees Celsius, which is much higher than that of conventional sintered Nd magnets.
The magnetic crystal anisotropy field is three times higher than that of Nd 2 Fe 14 B, offering great potential for high coercivity magnets.
SmFeN magnets can be magnetically tuned without the addition of cobalt or other heavy rare earth elements (HREE).
Excellent corrosion and oxidation resistance.
