1 3 9M-2151 Taperlock Stud Torque to 35 5 N m (26 4 lb ft).
2 3 9S-8752 Full Nut Torque to 27 4 N m (239 35 lb in).
3 1 5H-6734 O-Ring Seal Before assembly, lubrie the bore lightly with 5P-3975 Rubber Lubricant.
4 1 8C-5236 Lip Type Seal Do not lubrie the sealing lip of the lip type seal.
5 1 149-5462 O-Ring Seal Before assembly, lubrie the bore lightly with 5P-3975 Rubber Lubricant.
6 1 212-8180 Pump Drive Shaft As Lubrie the shaft with a thin film of clean engine oil before pressing the impeller onto the shaft. The end of the shaft must be flush with the face of the impeller within 0.15 mm (0.006 inch).
Diameter of the shaft to the impeller seating is 25.400 to 25.413 mm (1.0000 to 1.0005 inch).

Good quality brushes are necessary to do the cleaning procedure. The following chart lists the part number and size of brushes that are available from the Parts Department. These brushes all have stiff nylon bristles.
Do not use brushes with loose or worn bristles, NEVER use a brush with metal bristles. Metal bristles can break off and leave debris in the engine block oil passages. This can cause damage to engine parts and result in early engine failure.
Flushing (Cleaning) Equipment
7 1 7N-4758 Thrust Washer Thickness of new thrust washer is 8.5 mm (0.33 inch).
Width of the groove for thrust washer is 8.75 0.05 mm (0.344 0.002 inch).

2 Install a 20 micron filter for filtration of the cleaning solution. [An 8J8850 Filter Group (with 8J1600 Filter Assembly) can be installed as a filter for the cleaning solution.]Operation
8 1 212-8187 Impeller Bore of the impeller for new shaft is 25.342 0.013 mm (0.9977 0.0005 inch).
Clearance between the impeller and the cover is 0.5000 0.4925 mm (0.01968 0.01939 inch).
