To inspect the exhaust manifold, gain access to the manifold according to the instructions in the Service Manual, "Disassembly and Assembly" module.Use the following procedure to clean the exhaust manifold, if necessary:
Remove the exhaust manifold according to the instructions in the Service Manual, "Disassembly and Assembly" module.
Soak the exhaust manifold in water.(1) to hold the shroud. The ring must be installed with the round edge of the outside diameter toward the inside. 5.
