Clean all parts and inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.

Install valve spool (37) , spring (36) and guide (35) into manifold valve (6) .

Position the O-ring seal and cover (34) onto manifold valve (6) . Install two bolts (33) . Tighten the bolts to a torque of 30 4 N m (22 3 lb ft) .

Install screen (32) into valve body (3) .

Install stop (31) , spring (30) , slug (29) and spring (28) into valve body (3) . Install dowels (26) and (27) .Note: The bottom of dowel (26) should be 8.0 mm (.32 inch) below the outside bottom surface of valve body (3) . Dowel (26) extends into stop (31) .

Install ball (25) , spring (24) and retainer (23) into valve spool (14) . Use Tooling (A) and install ring (22) into valve spool (14) .

Install slug (21) into valve spool (14) .

Install spring (20) , spring (19) , retainer (18) and ring (17) into valve spool (16) .

Install valve spool (16) and spring (15) into valve body (3) .

Install valve spool (14) , spring (13) , spring (12) , spacers (11) and piston (10) into valve body (3) .

Position the O-ring seal and cover (9) onto valve body (3) . Install three bolts (8) . Tighten the bolts to a torque of 30 4 N m (22 3 lb ft) .

Position plate (7) onto manifold valve (6) and position valve body (3) onto plate (7) .

Position cover (5) onto valve body (3) and install 24 bolts (4) . Tighten the bolts to a torque of 30 4 N m (22 3 lb ft). Install speed control valve (2) and directional valve (1) into valve body (3) .End By: Install the transmission hydraulic control valve.
