Working principle of CNC machining
CNC machining starts with a computer, where designers use CAD (computer aided Design) software to prepare parts. This digital part is then converted into a format that a CNC machine can recognize.
The instructions are sent to the CNC machine in the form of "G-code", after which the machine can start cutting.
Most CNC machines have a "table" and work-piece holding device for holding a piece of material (called a "work piece") in place. The workbench may or may not move, depending on the machine's style.
At the beginning of machining, the tool makes contact with the workpiece, cutting off layers of material. Move and/or quickly rotate tools and/or workpiece according to G code instructions so as to cut in the correct position until the part is finished.

What is CNC milling?
