303 stainless steel round bar is more easy to make cutting by adding a small percentage of sulfur and phosphorus compared to grade 304, and has other properties similar to 304 on terms of corrosion resistance, formality, weldability etc.
303 stainless steel is a type of austenitic stainless steel for free cutting, wear resistance, to improve the performance of the steel , it may be added a percentage of not more than 0.60% molybdenum, resistance to erosion and burn, and good machinability .Mechanical properties of 303 stainless steel after annealing stress, tensile strength is 515mpa,Yield strength is 205mpa, elongation is 40%, standard hardness is HRB 90-100, HRC 20-25, note: HRB100 = HRC2
