430/2B stainless steel is 430 stainless steel with a surface of 2B, commonly known as 430 misted stainless steel. China's production of 430/2B stainless steel is more representative, mainly Shanxi Taigang and Zhejiang Yongjin stainless steel. The various properties, density, and composition of 430/2B stainless steel are identical to those of 430 stainless steel. 430 stainless steel is a general-purpose steel with good corrosion resistance and better thermal conductivity than austenitic steel, with a smaller coefficient of thermal expansion than austenitic steel. It is heat resistant and fatigue resistant, and the stabilizing element titanium is added. The mechanical properties of the weld joint are good. Due to its relatively low price, 430 stainless steel has become the alternative to 304 stainless steel in many applications.
