As-welded annealed stainless steel square tube
This tubing is produced by the same process as tubing but is annealed to relieve stress and improve ductility. Bright annealing is carried out in a controlled atmosphere furnace, so that no oxide or scale forms on the surface.
Annealing both increases corrosion resistance and softens the tube, allowing severe manipulations such as bending, expanding and forming.
Manufacturing specification: ASTM A269.
Tube annealed cold drawn
This tube is generally intended for heat exchanger applications and is produced in the same manner as the AWA product, except that the inner bead is wound flush with the inside surface of the tube before annealing.
