Titanium Medical Rod Gr5 Gr23 Medical Ti6AL4VELI ASTM F136 Suture Needle
Description
Titanium Medical Rod Gr23 (Ti-6Al-4V ELI) is a premium biomedical titanium alloy material used for manufacturing medical implants, prostheses, and surgical instruments.
The alloy features high specific strength, excellent fatigue and corrosion resistance, and superior biocompatibility — making it ideal for long-term implantation in the human body.
Compared with commercially pure titanium, Gr23 (also known as Grade 5 ELI) offers higher strength and toughness while maintaining mechanical compatibility with human bone. It is the preferred material for applications such as orthopedic, spinal, and dental implants.
Titanium Medical Rods are classified as “metal materials for surgical implants” under ASTM F136 and ISO 13485 standards. They are widely used in medical fields including cardiovascular devices, bone and joint systems, spine fixation, and other orthopedic instruments.
