6Al-4V is known as the workhorse of the aerospace industry because it is by far the most common Titanium alloy. 6Al-4V is 30% stronger than steel while with the weight 50% lighter. Commonly referred to as Ti 6AL-4V (or Ti 6-4), this designation refers to its chemical composition of almost 90% titanium, 6% aluminum, 4% vanadium, 0.25% (max) iron and 0.2% (max) oxygen. 6Al-4V is an alpha-beta alloy. Ti 6Al-4V offers a combination of high strength, light weight, formability and corrosion resistance which have made it a most common used high temprature titanium alloy plate and sheet for shipbuilding, aerospace industry, power plants, desalination, metal fabricating industries.

6Al-4V Plate Thickness ranges from >4.75mm to 60mm Thick, hot rolling.

6Al-4V Sheet Thickness range from 0.3mm to 6.0mmThick, cold rolling.
