Applications
Titanium has proven to be an indispensable material across multiple industries. It is widely used in:
Aircraft and aerospace manufacturing
Chemical processing plants
Oil and gas production
Power generation systems
Marine and desalination equipment
Titanium tubes can be fabricated, welded, and formed easily, making them ideal for various industrial uses.
There are 38 titanium grades approved by ASME and ASTM standards (B-338), including Gr1, Gr2, Gr3, Gr7, Gr9, Gr11, Gr12, Gr16, Gr17, Gr26 (TIRU-26™), and Gr27 (TIRU-27™).
Among them, Grade 2 titanium is the most commonly used for power plant surface condensers due to its excellent balance of strength and corrosion resistance.
Titanium alloy grades such as Ti-3Al-2.5V and Ti-6Al-4V are frequently applied for high-performance tubing.
