Titanium ERTi-7 Wire 2.0mm 2.4mm Titanium Welding Wire Pickling Surface
Description
Titanium ERTi-7 welding wire is a commercially pure titanium alloy (Grade 7) with a titanium purity of approximately 99.7%. It offers excellent corrosion resistance, particularly in oxidising and reducing environments, due to the addition of 0.12–0.25% palladium (Pd), which enhances its resistance to crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking.
This alloy has high ductility, good weldability, and a favourable strength-to-weight ratio, making it ideal for aerospace, marine, medical, and industrial applications.
The pickled surface finish provides a clean and oxide-free surface that ensures superior weld quality and performance.
