      Working Principle of the  Oil Pump Relief Valve

• The oil pump supplies pressurized oil when the engine is operating.
• When pressure goes above the set limit, oil pressure pushes the valve against the internal spring.
• The valve opens, and extra oil flows back to the oil sump to reduce pressure.
• When pressure returns to normal, the spring resets and closes the valve automatically.
