Turgo Turbine
The inclined-jet turbine is designed for power stations with high head and low flow conditions. Water flows from the reservoir through diversion pipes and nozzles at high velocity onto the runner blades, creating rotation that drives the hydrogenerator to produce electrical energy.
The turbine features an inclined axis design where water flows at an angle to the unit axis. Key components include:
- Inclined volve welded to cast-welded seat ring with 35° strut inclination
- 45° inclined guide water mechanism with 24 guide blades
- Double-supported guide vane structure with symmetrical airfoil
- Stainless steel runner with ten 45° angled blades
- Rubber bowl seals to prevent water leakage
