Previously known as Concentrix, the updated Symmetrix system allows for simultaneous casing and drilling operations. The system consists of three main components: pilot bit, ring bit (reamer), and casing shoe.
The Casing Advancer enables drilling and casing to be performed simultaneously as one integral operation. This eliminates the need to drill with a Rock Bit, pull the drill rod string, and then ream the casing back into the hole.
