Maintenance of excavator:

(1) Maintenance items per 250H. Check the oil level in the final transmission box (add gear oil); Check the battery electrolyte; Replace the oil in the engine oil pan, replace the engine filter; Lubriing slewing bearings (2 places); Check the fan belt tension and adjust the belt tension of the air conditioner compressor.

(2) Maintenance items per 500h. Carry out maintenance projects every 100 and 250H simultaneously; Replace the fuel filter element; Check the height of the grease in the rotating pinion (add grease); Check and clean radiator fins, oil cooler fins and cooler fins; Replace the hydraulic oil filter element; Replace the oil in the final transmission box (the first time only in 500h, after 1000h once); Clean the air filter inside and outside the air conditioning system; Replace the hydraulic oil exhaust filter element.

• Greater resistance. Making liners separately from the engine block allows the use of special higher performance materials than those used for the construction of the block itself. Liners are generally made in special cast iron alloys containing elements with natural lubriing properties, like graphite. Other components are added like chrome, vanadium, and molybdenum to help ensure resistance to corrosion and wear caused by high temperatures.

• Easier maintenance. When liners are worn they can be replaced more easily than changing an entire cylinder block.

• Higher thermal conductivity. At operating temperatures the liners heat up more than the cylinders and must be able to expand in both diameter and length. If they were cast together with the cylinders, the resulting thermal loading would be high enough to fracture the materials.

• Less risk of defects. The more complex a casting, the more difficult it is to achieve perfectly even surfaces with low residual stresses.
