Engine noise - Replace fan belt

First, remove the protective cover of the fan blades with a wrench, remove the compressor belt cover, loosen the lock nut of the tensioner, loosen the tensioning screws to the loosest state, and then remove the air conditioning belt.

Loosen the generator lock nut, loosen the tension screw to the loosest condition, and adjust the generator position.

Wrap the fan belt around the fan blades, remove the old fan belt, and compare the old and new fan belts to ensure that the model is the same.

Wrap the new fan belt around the fan blades and attach it to the appropriate belt pulley. Adjust the belt tension to the specified value by turning the generator tension screw clockwise with a wrench.

The belt is pressed with a force of 10 kg, and the deformation is about one centimeter, and then the locking screw of the generator is tightened to adjust the tension of the belt to the specified value.

Same as above, install the fan shield, compressor belt shield, and finally carry out trial operation and troubleshooting.

Liners are generally made in special cast iron alloys containing elements with natural lubriing properties, like graphite. • Easier maintenance. When liners are worn they can be replaced more easily than changing an entire cylinder block.

• Higher thermal conductivity. At operating temperatures the liners heat up more than the cylinders and must be able to expand in both diameter and length. If they were cast together with the cylinders, the resulting thermal loading would be high enough to fracture the materials.

• Less risk of defects. The more complex a casting, the more difficult it is to achieve perfectly even surfaces with low residual stresses.
