Input:

1. The speed sensor (ESS) has three leads and is loed at the bottom of the engine. The magnetic sensor measures engine speed and fuel injection advance through moving two-piece multi-tooth ring gears loed on cylinders 5 and 6 between the crankshafts.

2. The engine position sensor has three leads, loed at the rear left side of the timing gear chamber housing, right below the fuel injection pump. Its function is to measure the position of the 1-cylinder piston during diagnostic tests.

3, intake manifold temperature sensor has two lines, loed at the rear left of the cylinder head, indiing the intake temperature.

4, the intake manifold pressure sensor has three leads, loed at the rear left of the cylinder head, indiing the turbocharger intake pressure.

5. The coolant temperature sensor has two leads, respectively loed at the front and top of the cylinder head, indiing the temperature of the coolant in the engine.

Advantage of Engine Cylinder Liner Kit

• Greater resistance. Making liners separately from the engine block allows the use of special higher performance materials than those used for the construction of the block itself. Liners are generally made in special cast iron alloys containing elements with natural lubriing properties, like graphite. Other components are added like chrome, vanadium, and molybdenum to help ensure resistance to corrosion and wear caused by high temperatures.

• Easier maintenance. When liners are worn they can be replaced more easily than changing an entire cylinder block.

• Higher thermal conductivity. At operating temperatures the liners heat up more than the cylinders and must be able to expand in both diameter and length. If they were cast together with the cylinders, the resulting thermal loading would be high enough to fracture the materials.

• Less risk of defects. The more complex a casting, the more difficult it is to achieve perfectly even surfaces with low residual stresses.
