Operation Manual of Medical X-ray Protective Glove and Mitten
1. The consumer can choose different types of protective gloves and mittens according to his requirement.
2. The protective glove and mitten are mainly used by the radiation operator to prevent the scattering of the X-ray during the operation.
3. Before the operation, the operator should check the surface of the protective gloves and mittens whether it has been damaged or not. If not, put on them and operate.
4. The attenuation equivalent of the protective glove and mitten is: 0.25mmPb, 0.35mmPb, 0.5mmPb.
5. When washing and sterilizing the protective glove and mitten, should adopt the method of boiling them. Boil the protective glove in the boiling water for about half an hour. Then dry and put on the cover and lining to use.
6. According to the standard of GB16757-1997, the service life of the lead and rubber protective products is 4~5 years. The user should have a regular examination of the protective glove and mitten once a year. The examination method is to take apart the cover and check it by eyes. If the crackle of the product exceeds one-third of it, the product cannot be used anymore, must be discarded or renewed.
7. When storing the protective glove and mitten, lie them flat in the well airy room were untouched the sunshine and far away from the heat source. Musn’t touch with the acid or alkali chemical products to ensure the service life of the protective glove and mitten.
8. The voltage of the X-ray tube: 100KV.
