1. Laminated Glass:

   • Laminated glass is made by sandwiching an interlayer material, typically polyvinyl butyral (PVB) or SentryGlas® Plus (SGP), between two or more layers of glass. The interlayer holds the glass together in the event of breakage, reducing the risk of injury by preventing the glass from shattering into sharp pieces.

2. Tempered Glass:

   • Tempered glass, also known as toughened glass, undergoes a thermal tempering process. The glass is heated to a high temperature and then rapidly cooled. This process increases its strength and impact resistance. When tempered glass breaks, it shatters into small, relatively harmless pieces instead of sharp shards.
