Graphite Petroleum Coke is widely used as carburant in the steel-making industry and precision casting industry, reduction pregnant agent in the casting industry, reducing agent in metallurgical industry and as one kind of refractories, etc.
Graphite Petroleum Coke could promote the nucleation of the graphite in liquid iron, increase the amount of spheroidal graphite, and improve the structure and the grade of grey iron.Based on the microstructure observation, the features of Ninefine Graphite Petroleum Coke are as the following:
First, it can greatly increase the proportion of ferrite content of the nodular cast iron without pearlite stabilizer; Second, it can increase the percentage of V and VI shaped graphite when it is used; Third, comparing with the improvement of the shape of spheroidal graphite, the great increase of spheroidal graphite amount can decrease the usage of expensive nucleating agent for later micro-adjustment and save the cost remarkably.
Graphitized Petroleum Coke
Graphitized Petroleum Coke is made from high quality petroleum coke under a temperature of 2,500-3,500°C. As a high-purity carbon material, it has characteristics of high fixed carbon content, low sulfur, low ash, low porosity etc.It can be used as carbon raiser ( Recarburizer ) to produce high quality steel,cast iron and alloy.It can also be used in plastic and rubber as an additive.

Metallurgical Coke Carbon additive manufacture,Steel making,Cement plants,Power plants,Vitrified tile manufacturers,clay bricks manufacturers,chemical industries,refractories and coal gasifier plants. Carbon raiser is a carbon material, produced at high temperatures and used for carburization of steel and cast iron. It is applied during the steelmaking with low cast iron content (allow of steel and carbon) in charge in oxygen converter and electrosmelting processes. In metallurgy carbon raiser (milled graphite) is widely used for slag foaming, during coal graphite production, as a filler for graphite-reinforced plastic.
