Carbon Steel Elbow ASTM B 16.9 Round Beveled Ends Degree 90 Elbow is a kind of pipe fitting commonly used in pipeline installation to provide flexibility to change the pipe direction.
It connects two pipes of the same nominal diameter or different diameters, so that the pipe bends at a certain angle, usually 90 or 45 degrees. The ends may be machined for butt welding threaded or socketed. When the ends differ in size, it is known as a reducer elbow.
According to bend degree, there are 90-degree elbows and 45-degree elbows; according to length, there are long radius elbows and short radius elbows.
