ASTM SS SORF Slip-On Flanges ANSI AMSE B16.5 DIN JIS Slip-On Flanges are mainly suitable for butt welding of flanges and pipes. Common pressure class150~class1500, Concave-convex sealing surface, They have high strength and rigidity, reasonable structure, can withstand high temperature, high pressure, repeated bending and temperature fluctuations, and their sealing performance is reliable.
Slip-on pipe flanges are joined, generally both outside and inside, to offer potency and stop leakage. Slip on pipe flanges can at times as well have a ring/boss or a focal point, and can be made up by means of a bore to go well with either tube or pipe. Meanwhile, hub pipe flanges and ring pipe flanges are both believed as slip-on pipe flanges, for the reason that they both slip above the pipe.
