Bend is the most common used butt weld fittings to change the direction of pipelines. 5D refers to the radius, D is the diameter of pipes. So 5D means a bend which radius is three times the diameter.
Steel pipe bend is a bending pipe that used to change the pipeline direction. Common use radius bend in 3D bend and 5D bend.
