This Cisco GLC-EZX-SM-120 compatible 1G SFP transceiver is a dual fiber 1000Mbps Small Form-factor Pluggable SFP module for use in 1000BASE Ethernet. This MSA compliant 1G SFP transceiver provides 1000Base-EZX throughput up to 120km over single-mode fiber (SMF) at a wavelength of 1550nm using an LC connector. The transmitter section uses a 1550nm DFB laser. The receiver section uses a high-speed APD photodiode integrated with a trans-impedance preamplifier (TIA).

This Cisco 1G SFP transceiver is functionally equivalent to the Cisco GLC-EZX-SM-120 SFP transceiver but with a much lower price and reliable quality. It is tested in the intended environment ensuring this module can work with a wide range of Cisco networking equipment.
