Description
The GIGAOPTO's GTS-T0012-10I-A transceiver is a high performance, cost-effective Copper Small Form Pluggable (SFP) module compliant with the Gigabit Ethernet and 1000BASE-T standards as specified in IEEE 802. 3-2002 and IEEE802.3ab, which supports 1000Mbps data-rate up to 100 meters reach over unshielded twisted-pair category 5 cables. Its electrical interface is MSA compliant 20-pin edge type connector and the line-side interface is RJ45 connector. The module provides standard serial ID information compliant with SFP MSA, which can be accessed with the address of A0h via the 2 wire serial CMOS EEPROM protocol.
Featuring low power consumption (1.05W for 100m), the hot swappable 1000Mbps SFP transceiver is compatible with various brands of hosts, widely used in data centers and enterprise networks.
