Description

The GIGAOPTO's GTS-B3512-40DC transceiver is a single fiber bi-directional 1.25Gbps Small Form-factor Pluggable (SFP) BIDI module for use in 1000BASE Ethernet and 1G Fiber Channel. The 1000BASE-BX40 BiDi SFP transceiver provides up to 40km high-speed data links of 1000Base-BX throughput over single-mode fiber (SMF) using 1310nm-TX/1550nm-RX wavelengths via LC simplex connectors.

The SFP module supports Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) functions according to the industry-standard SFF-8472 Multi-Source Agreement (MSA). This feature gives the end user the ability to monitor real-time parameters of the SFP, such as optical output power, optical input power, temperature, laser bias current, and transceiver supply voltage.

The GTS-B3512-40DC SFP transceiver module is a Class 1 laser product that complies with FDA/CDRH and IEC-60825 standards.
