Description

The GIGAOPTO's GTS-D1712-A0DC series SFP transceivers are high performance, cost effective small form factor pluggable modules that support data rate of 1.25Gbps and operate at a nominal DWDM wavelength from 1528.77nm to 1565.50nm as specified by the ITU-T. The module data links up to 100km over 9/125um single mode fiber. It offers a simple and convenient way to connect PCBs to single mode fiber optic cables in Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) applications. It is a high performance, cost effective module for serial optical data communication applications.

The transceiver consists of two sections: The transmitter section incorporates a cooled DWDM DFB laser, and the receiver section consists of a APD photodiode integrated with a TIA. All modules satisfy class I laser safety requirements.

The transceivers are compatible with SFP Multi-Source Agreement and SFF-8472 digital diagnostics functions.
