Products Description of 12G-SDI CWDM SFP+ 1270nm~1450nm Transceiver Series

 

Gigaopto’s GTS-Cxx9A-10DC series is a single mode transceiver module designed to transmit/receive optical serial digital signals as defined in SMPTE 2082, SMPTE 424M, SMPTE 292M, SMPTE 259M, and DVB-ASI. It supports up to 11.8Gbps and is specifically designed to transmit the pathological patterns for HD-SDI, 3G-SDI, 6G-SDI, and 12G-SDI. Max link reach up to 20km over Single-Mode Fiber (SMF) via CWDM wavelength from 1270nm to 1450nm channel.

The transceiver includes three sections: a DFB laser, a PIN photodiode integrated with a trans-impedance pre-amplifier (TIA) , Reclocker ,and a MCU controller. The transceiver is compliant with SFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA), It is with the SFP+ 20-pin connector to allow hot plug capability. Digital diagnostic functions are available via an I2C.
