Y and YR are the basic series, the protection grade is IP23, and the cooling method is IC01. On this basis, various motors with different protection grades and cooling methods can be derived, such as YKS (air-water cooling), YQF (climate protection), YKK (air-air cooling), YRKS, YRQF, YRKK series motors.

The motor adopts the internationally popular box-type structure, the base and the end cover are welded by steel plates, with good rigidity and light weight. After removing the protective cover (or cooler), you can observe and access the inside of the motor, which is convenient for the installation and maintenance of the motor. The stator adopts an external press-fit structure. The stator windings are made of Class F insulating materials and anti-corona materials, and the winding ends are fixed by a special binding process, which is firm and reliable. The entire stator is treated by vacuum pressure impregnation with Class F solvent-free paint (VPI). As a result, the motor has excellent and reliable insulation performance and moisture-proof and impact-resistant capabilities.

Most of the squirrel cage rotors of this series of motors are cast aluminum rotors, without the phenomenon of broken copper bar rotors, and the operation is reliable; the squirrel cage copper bar rotors adopt advanced and reliable welding technology, and are tightened in the groove. The wound rotor is made of Class F insulating material and is treated with vacuum pressure impregnation Class F solvent-free paint (VPI).
There are two types of bearings: rolling bearings and sliding bearings, which depend on the power and speed of the motor. The protection level of the basic type is IP44. For example, when the motor has a higher protection level, the protection level of the bearing is also increased.
The motors with rolling bearing structure have non-stop refueling and oil draining devices, and special refueling tools can be used for non-stop refueling and oil draining.

The main outlet box is a sealed structure, and the protection level is IP54. It is generally installed on the right side of the motor (viewed from the shaft extension end), and can also be installed on the left side according to user needs. The inlet hole of the outlet box can be turned up, down, left and right around. There is a separate ground terminal inside the box.
