The silkworm cocoon dryer adopts a mesh belt dryer with hot air as the drying medium, and the hot air is transported to the dryer through the fan to dry the materials. The material to be processed is conveyed by multi-layer movable stainless steel mesh belt, the hot air flows through the mesh belt and the material layer above it from bottom to top, the multi-layer circulation is turned over, the layers are dried, the heat exchange is uniform, and the production efficiency is high.
The drying process of fresh cocoons goes through two stages, namely, the drying stage in which the water evaporates the same amount and the deceleration drying stage in which the water evaporation gradually decreases. The characteristic of this period is that the temperature of the pupa, the temperature of the cocoon layer and the temperature of the cocoon cavity changed with the drying time, and the temperature gradually increased, and then reached the same temperature as the drying medium.
