This parallel 40Gb/s Quad Small Form-factor Pluggable (QSFP+) optical module delivers increased port density and significant system cost savings. The full-duplex design offers 4 independent transmit and receive channels, each capable of 10Gb/s operation for an aggregate data rate of 40Gb/s over 1.4km of single mode fiber. The module requires a single +3.3V power supply with internally connected VccTx and VccRx pins that should be applied concurrently. Per MSA specifications, the module includes 7 low speed hardware control pins: ModSelL, SCL, SDA, ResetL, LPMode, ModPrsL and IntL.
