This optical transceiver module is engineered for 2km optical communication applications with full compliance to IEEE 802.3bs specifications. The module efficiently converts 8 input channels of 53.125Gb/s electrical data to 2 sets of 4 CWDM optical signals, multiplexing them into 2 sets of single channels for 212.5Gb/s optical transmission. On the receiver side, it optically de-multiplexes 2 sets of single channel 212.5Gb/s signal inputs into 2 sets of 4 CWDM channel signals, converting them to 8 output channels of 53.125Gb/s electrical data.
