The troponin I Rapid Assay (Whole Blood/Serum/plasma) is a rapid chromatographic immunoassay used to qualitatively detect troponin I in whole blood, serum, or plasma of the human heart to aid in the diagnosis of myocardial infarction (MI).
Allow the test equipment, sample, buffer, and/or controller to reach room temperature (15-30 °C) prior to testing.
1. Place the bag at room temperature before opening it. Remove the test unit from the sealed bag and use it as soon as possible.
2. Place the test device on a clean, level surface.
Whole blood, serum or plasma specimens:
Hold the dropper vertically and transfer 2 drops of sample (or about 50 μL) to the sample hole (S) of the test facility, then add 1 drop of buffer and start the timer.
3. Wait for the color line to appear. Read the results every 10 minutes. Don't explain the results after 20 minutes.
