| The mold base used is the standard mold base with part number FCI2530.608080. It has a length of 300mm, a width of 300mm, and a height of 306mm. The mold weighs 166kg and has a tool life of 500,000 shots. This mold is a three-plates mold, which does not require any post-processing and allows for automatic demolding. The injection/runner type is a cold runner, and the gate is a side gate, where the pin point gate is turned to the side gate. |
| The cavity and core of the mold are made of hardened steel (1*2/S136). The surface finish of the mold has two options: 1) A surface with MT11010 etch, and 2) Other surfaces EDM with VDI18# (Makino). For the injection part, the material used is PC+ABS.
