Replacement steps, process and adjuent method of main drive chain
(1) Stop the escalator, open the upper pedal, cut off the power supply, disconnect the main drive chain at the slip knot, and remove the chain. Replace the main drive chain with a new one and connect the chain spool.
(2) To adjust the tightness of the main drive chain, move the chain in the vertical direction by hand at the middle position of the two sprockets, and measure its movement. When it is 23-46 mm, the tightness does not need to be adjusted. , adjust as follows:
a. Unscrew the fixing bolts of the traction machine.
b. Loosen the lock nut, tighten the drive chain (when 23-46 mm), tighten the adjusting bolt, and tighten the fixing bolt.
c. The escalator goes up, and the operation stops for one week.
d. Measure the lower end of the drive chain, if it is not within the range of 23 to 46 mm, repeat steps a to c until the requirements are met.
