The screw feeder is mainly used with extruders of various specifications to automatically convey plastic materials from storage tank to the hopper. It achieves the automatic feeding through the circulation controlled by material level sensor. It features stable function, labor saving, safe and reliable.

Applications of Screw Feeder Converyor
 

 
OSF series screw feeder is good for plastic flakes or some other materials with very light bulk density which is not easy to fall off in Hopper receivers of vacuum auto loaders. It occupies more space than auto loader, and the convey distance is less than auto loader. So OSF screw feeder is always applied in circustances like short distance conveying with large capcity (specially in plastic recycled materias like PET flakes).

 
In the above application, there are 3 pcs of OSF screw feeders, the 1st one load PET flakes to a OHM horizontal mixer dryer for pre-crystallizing & drying, the 2nd one load the crystallized PET flakes to the 1st OHD-O hopper dryer for drying, the 3rd one load the PET flakes from the 1st hopper dryer to the 2nd hopper dryer (mounted directly at the feedport of extruder, applied with ORD-H dehumidifier) for production.
