Product Features of Plastic Material Drying Machine
- P.I.D temperature controller to accurately control regenerative temperature.
- Adopt Japan Nichias molecular sieve honeycomb rotor which ensures good stable dehumidifying effect.
- Detachable cooler is equipped for over-sized model, easy for maintenance and keeps a low return air temperature.
- High density return air filter ensures no contamination to the honeycomb.
- For models below ORD-400H, air cooling method is applied. No need to apply chilled water to cool down the temperature of return air. Thus saves energy and humistic.
- Temperature indication function for dehumidified outlet air temperature.
- Efficient oil filter is optional. 99% of oil can be removed, thus product quality can be greatly improved.
Application of Plastic Material Drying Machine
ORD-H series rotary honeycomb dehumidifiers are mainly used to dry hygroscopic engineering plastics or regrind materials. Under ideal conditions, the dew-point of dehumidified dry air can be lower than -60oC, the largest of which can provide dry air up to a quantity of 4,000 m3/hr.

Application Cases of Plastic Material Drying Machine
ORD-H series honeycomb dehumidifier is powerful for its low dew point, low energy consumption, long service life, less maintenance cost, easy installation in application. A dehumidifier can be equipped with 1 or more OHD-O hopper dryers to provide dry air for a better drying effect. It is specially suitable for drying of hygroscopic plastic resins, like TPU, PET, PLA, PC, PA, PETG, PCTG, PPA and etc.

What is Honeycomb-rotor?
The main body of the honeycomb-rotor is a honeycomb, made by ceramic fibre and organic additives, sintered under high temperature with molecular sieve or silica gel, to be strongly bonded together and form a solid and hard surface. Not like common molecular sieve, which will produce dusts and fines to pollute raw materials when aging or become saturated requiring regular replacement, honeycomb-rotor offer unlimited long life and can be cleaned when it is polluted. The moisture of return air is quickly absorbed by numerous tunnels before coming out of the rotor to form low dew-point air. At the same time, regenerating blower takes dry air into the honeycomb-rotor from an opposite direction to regenerate the rotor.
Working Principle
The moisture contained in the air which is waited for treating will be absorbed by hygroscopic materials, hereafter, be de-absorbed by the regenerated hot air. And the two air-stream work together in the rotation wheel. So, with the rotation of the wheel, moisture will be absorbed and de-absorbed continuously, and drain out via de-absorbing by regenerated air to form a steady low dew point air-stream for using.
