The ASNU Series is a ramp & roller type one-way clutch designed for overrunning, indexing, and backstopping applications. This non-bearing supported clutch requires external bearings to handle axial and radial loads, with separate lubrication and sealing systems needed for optimal operation.
Key Features & Design Specifications
- Outer race features n6 tolerance for secure press fit in H7 housing
- Side notches in outer race ensure positive torque transmission
- Tolerates axial misalignment of inner and outer race up to +/- S/2
- Factory oil-dipped with proper lubrication required before operation
- Optimized for oil lubrication (reduce maximum overrunning speed by 50% for grease applications)
