Product Overview
The CSK series combines sprag-type one-way clutch functionality with precision ball bearings, providing reliable overrunning, indexing, and backstopping capabilities in a compact, integrated design.
Standard CSK Features
Type CSK integrates a sprag clutch into a 62 Series ball bearing (except sizes 8 and 40). These units are bearing-supported, factory grease-lubricated, and protected against dust particles larger than 0.3mm diameter.
Lubrication & Sealing
Standard operating temperature range: -6°C to 60°C (21°F to 140°F). Special grease available for extended temperature range: -40°C to 100°C (-40°F to 212°F). Additional Nylos-type seals recommended for temperatures exceeding 50°C (122°F). Oil bath lubrication possible after flushing original grease with suitable solvent.
Installation Specifications
Torque transmission achieved through press-fit assembly into rigid outer housing (recommended N6 tolerance) and onto shaft (recommended n6 tolerance). Initial bearing radial clearance set at C5, reduced by specified press fit. One race may be glued; if both races glued, performance reduced or C3 bearing clearance required.
CSK..2RS Washdown Series
CSK..2RS models feature lip seals for washdown applications and are 5mm wider than standard 62 Series bearings.
