Heavy-Coating Electrolytic Tinplate Sheet 5.6/5.6 g/m2 for Aerosol Cans
Heavy-coating electrolytic tinplate sheet carries a 5.6/5.6 g/m2 tin layer on both faces, roughly double the standard coating weight. This heavier deposit extends corrosion protection for aggressive contents such as aerosol formulations, chemical products and acidic food fills, and it improves solderability for seam-welded container bodies.
Key Features- Heavy Tin Deposit: a 5.6/5.6 g/m2 coating resists aggressive acidic and chemical contents
- Extended Service Life: the thicker tin barrier slows rust during humid storage and transport
- Reliable Solderability: increased tin weight supports strong soldered seams on can bodies
- Good Formability: controlled temper allows drawing and seaming without coating damage
- Even Coating Distribution: precise electroplating keeps protection uniform from edge to edge
