Product Introduction
WS1501 continuous online automatic COD water quality monitoring equipment using potassium dichromate spectrophotometric method. By adding a quantitative solution of potassium dichromate to the specimen, in a strong sulphuric acid medium, with silver sulphate as a catalyst, and adding mercury sulphate as a chloride ion masking agent, the mixture is confined and dissipated by high temperature and pressure at 165°C, so that the quantitative conversion of hexavalent chromium to trivalent chromium, the colour of the mixture is changed, and the change in the colour is measured spectrophotometrically, so that the actual COD value can be deduced, and the amount of dichromate ions consumed corresponds to the amount of oxidisable organic matter.
