What are the symptoms of aging ignition coils?

In the high-speed gasoline engine of modern cars, the microprocessor controlled ignition system, also known as digital electronic control ignition system, has been adopted. This ignition system consists of a microcomputer (computer), various sensors and ignition actuators.
In fact, in modern engines, the two subsystems of gasoline injection and ignition are controlled by the same ECU and share a set of sensors. Digital electronic control ignition system (ESA) is divided into distributor type and non-distributor type (DLI) according to its structure. The distributor type electronic control ignition system uses only one ignition coil to generate high voltage, and then the distributor ignites the spark plugs of each cylinder in sequence according to the ignition sequence. Since the electronic ignition circuit is responsible for the on-off of the primary coil of the ignition coil, the distributor has canceled the breaker device and only plays the role of high-voltage power distribution.
Two-cylinder ignition.
Double-cylinder ignition means that two cylinders share an ignition coil, so this ignition method can only be used on engines with an even number of cylinders.
