Hot-rolled strip generally refers to coiled strip with a thickness of 1 to 20 mm, and a width of generally 600 to 2000 mm. The hot-rolled steel strip can be used directly as a hot-rolled steel sheet, or a cold-rolled steel strip can be supplied as a billet. It is widely used in automotive, electrical, chemical, shipbuilding and other industrial sectors, and also as a billet for cold-rolled, welded pipe, and cold-formed steel production. Hot strip rolling mill is the main equipment for producing hot strip, with the advantages of high production efficiency, high output and good quality. [2] According to the product width and production process, there are four kinds of hot-rolled strip: hot continuous rolling of wide strip, reversible hot rolling of wide strip, continuous hot rolling of narrow strip and hot strip rolling with planetary rolling mill.
