316 and 316L stainless steel plates are two types of common stainless steel materials that widely used in many industrial and commercial applications.
316 and 316L stainless steel contain similar chemical compositions, with the main components including chromium, nickel and molybdenum.While 316L has a slightly lower carbon content than 316, making it more resistant to intergranular corrosion during welding.
In addition,both 316 and 316L stainless steel have excellent corrosion resistance, especially against chloride corrosion and seawater corrosion,makes it suitable for widely used in marine environments, chemical plants, and food processing.
