316 stainless steel is a molybdenum-containing stainless steel. Due to the molybdenum content in the steel,316 steel has good corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance and creep resistance,performs better than 310 and 304 stainless steel.316L is a low-carbon version of Grade 316, with a maximum carbon content of 0.03%.Due to the addition of molybdenum,316 stainless steel has improved corrosion resistance and high temperature strength.
